Nick Guzzardo was affectionately called, "The Prodigy," because of his almost mythic rise in the Hoop Community from beginner to one of the best in the world in little over a year's time. First picking up a hoop in 2009, his path has lead him to teach and perform at hoop events and festivals throughout the US, Mexico, and Europe. He became hooping.orgs 2011 Newbie hooper of the year and 2013's Male Hooper of the year. Nicks own practical focus lies in the exploration of dynamic improvisation, blending athleticism into rhythmic dance, pushing the boundaries of "Head Hooping" and innovating his own contact technique style.
